I do not like what it does to identify anyone other than heterosexual men as inhuman and I do not like the way it treats women as property.

But I suppose I am a little more sympatheic towards regligionists that understand that they should just keep it to themselves. I think Christians are more likely to do this in some developed countries more so than the US, and I am inclined to think that despite the sensationist rhetoric, sometimes Muslims migrating to our nations do this a bit better than Christians do. Your stats seem to suggest this. Religious fundamentalism is a mental disorder that will occur any place humans inhabit, and those affected by the disorder are unlikely to present as humanitarian refugees. There are more efficient ways of getting in the country if all they intend to do is blow themselves up along with a bunch of Westeners.Davidnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3488651241352366915.post-7956311449930970632015-11-30T21:31:45.863-05:002015-11-30T21:31:45.863-05:00Longhorn,
and yet...we have yet to have a refugee...Longhorn,

and yet...we have yet to have a refugee actually commit a terrorist act in this country. I note in that article the methodology for reviewing refugee applications was changed after that individual's entry. It is quite intense, involving 6 or 7 governmental agencies and 18 to 24 months wait time. I'd have to be a real dumb terrorist to submit myself to that, when the "get in with no visa from Europe" option is wide open right now.

The links at the bottom of my posting provides the details of the stats I quoted.

Dromedary Humphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14165566701791663057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3488651241352366915.post-53877971714262821072015-11-30T20:14:24.360-05:002015-11-30T20:14:24.360-05:00Saw the No True Scotsman fallacy just yesterday re...Saw the No True Scotsman fallacy just yesterday regarding the PP attack. What references did you use to get these numbers? They're really coming in handy when arguing on the interwebs. I did find this article illuminating, but most people would say it's an argument against yours. I don't see it that way, but thought it was informative:

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/al-qaeda-kentucky-us-dozens-terrorists-country-refugees/story?id=20931131longhorn believerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15520126985162930925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3488651241352366915.post-11685246628714989082015-11-28T18:53:44.643-05:002015-11-28T18:53:44.643-05:00Riley..
As usual you're not barking up the wro...Riley..
As usual you're not barking up the wrong tree.

When Christians persecute, when they kill, when they discriminate, when they abuse dogs...it's always "Oh..but they aren't TRUE Christian." I expect to see that "no true Scotsman" argument coming down the pike with the Planned Parenthood slaughter.

I'm just waiting to hear the "REAL good Christians" decry the GOP hopefuls as "not true Christians" for the mindless hate and fear they are perpetrating on their less than bright right wing fanatical xenophobic supporters.

I won't hold my breath.
