You've articulated so much of my own views and feelings. <BR/><BR/>It made me think, too, of the power that labels have in the way that people think. Our own friendship would have been greatly hindered had we actually believed in the labels that others have placed on us and the danger that those preconceptions of labeling can do on a widespread (or national or worldwide) level.<BR/><BR/>That we are somehow expected to think in or vote in blocs is scary yet it is happening all around us because of exactly what you have written tonight, the "I have mine, my little part of the world is fine" mentality.<BR/><BR/>Thanks for making us think.
