Test Your Knowledge: Name This Jew Hater

Anti-Semitism is nothing new. It’s been around almost 2000 years, ever since Jews rejected Jesus as a false messiah. When they did that, Paul, seeing a dead end for the cult, decided that making Jews the scapegoat for Jesus' death was the perfect way to exonerate the Romans, and thus draw them, the “gentiles”, into what Jesus had intended to be a reformed Jewish movement.

Voila!! 2000 years of anti-Semitism was born.

There have been a lot of Jew haters. Many use the words of the New Testament to justify hating and persecuting Jews. Their hate can be subtle, or vehement. It can manefest itself as simple exclusion of Jews, spreading hateful steriotypes and falsehoods, or physical violence against them. Others became world famous for fanning the fires of hate, and by dehumanizing Jews spread that hate in others prompting widespread and intense Jewish persecution.

The following are the words of a famous Jew hater. A man who’s name is renowned the world over, with a following of millions. Can you name him?

- He argued that the Jews were no longer the chosen people, but were "the devil's people."
- He wrote that Jews were "base, whoring people, that is, no people of God, and their boast of lineage, circumcision, and law must be accounted as filth."
- The synagogue was a "defiled bride, yes, an incorrigible whore and an evil slut ..." -- Jews were full of the "devil's feces ... which they wallow in like swine."
- He advocated setting synagogues on fire, destroying Jewish prayer books, forbidding rabbis from preaching, seizing Jews' property and money, smashing up their homes, and ensuring that these "poisonous envenomed worms" be forced into labor or expelled "for all time."
- He also sanctioned their murder, writing "We are at fault in not slaying them."

So, who do you think it was?

Hitler? Goebbels? American Nazi Party leader George Lincoln Rockwell? A famous atheist? Stalin? Some rabid Islamic imam? The President of Iran? Osama bin Laden? For the answer click on “comments” below. ... Surprised? You shouldn't be.

  2. People have hated the Jews a lot longer than that. You can read about how the Jews' own actions in Egypt caused them to be first subjected to the whole killing of the first born thing then to be kicked out entirely (you know, moses, red sea - THAT thing)
to try to expel the FOREIGN Jew bacillus from Egypt.

Have you ever heard of delusions of grandeur and those of paranoia?

The Jews call THEMSELVES the CHOSEN PEOPLE (by God) and constantly play the anti-semite card against anyone who dares criticize their actions.

  3. Thanks for that truly revealing and counter-intellectual post.

This blog is about atheism, anti-theism and reason. It's not about jew hating, or promulgating revisionist history, or having seriously deficient comments proffered by seriously stupid people.

  4. He's not Jew hating. The Jews have in fact been oppressed much longer than 2000 years. I know you Athiests like to think that all the evils of the world started with Jesus, but EVERY religion has been oppressed.

And, yes, the Jews do in fact call themselves the chosen people. Anyone that would try to refute that has obviously knows nothing about Judaism.

The Jews, at least the ones in the media, do play the anti-semite card all the time. Even though they are known to be one of the most conservative religions and are well known for only allowing their children to marry other Jews, for some reason they are not held to the same standard as the other ethnic groups.

  5. Anon..
I see why you didn't use your name. If I were a coward, a Jew Hater, a Lutheran apologist, and mentally deficient relgionist, I'd stay anon as well.

don't reply, you'll be wasting your time.

  6. You know nothing about Christianity. In John 16:2-3, Jesus disowns those who kill in His name.

In John 4:22 Jesus says salvation is from the Jews.

In Galatians 3:28 Paul says "there is neither Jew nor Greek for you are all one in Christ."

Nobody uses the words of the NT to support racism, you godless scoffer. 2 Peter 3:3 was right about you.

  7. Anon..wow... a comment on a three yr old post. Look around, you'll find more recent ones to which you can offer your inaccurate perception of verse.

John 16:2-3 speaks of killing Jesus followers, it doesn't speak against killing Jews per se. Ofcourse you don't prefer that universally understood interpretation, it doesn't suit your distorted view of your man-god sucking religion.

During the cxivil war southern bapstsis diud indeed use verse to justify racism, slavery. And the condemnation of jews, the pogroms, the persecutions all come from interprtation of the NT, espc. Mathew 21 and John 7 & 8. But that doesnt work with your agenda either, no doubt.

I won't bother correcting/refuting your other idiocy, this is proof enough you are unworthy, and the worst example of a cherry pickeing, denying, Xtian apologist.

Now, go forth and do what mindless Xtians do best... distort scripture, deny reality or pleasure yourself to a picture of your man-god. After all idle hands are the devil's playground.
