I love the Nazi-like, "If you see an atheist, tell a parent or pastor right away". Presumably the Jesus Police will be sent round to burn down the atheist's house. What they're really saying is don't talk to an atheist, because s/he may talk reason into your religiously atrophied brain.
.... and a logical and reasonous 2012 to you Humpy. I thoroughly enjoyed the wild ride through your mind that was 2011, and I'm ready for a fresh ride. A new direction or two mayhaps?
And totally off-subject here, but I was rereading the comments/pictures on the right-hand side of your home page. Considering that circumcision took place on the 8th day of the infant's birth, is that one HUGE baby or is it just me? And it seems to have an awful lot of body hair to me, too.
Joyce, Heheh... there's no accounting for medieval religious art. Frankly, they could have shown a tad more respect for the baby Jesus by having him hung more as fitting a man-god... like a camel.
Hi Hump, How do you think the GOP candidates are going to fare in your home state, given its relatively high concentration of atheists? It seemed to me that when not verbally attacking each other, all they seemed to be interested in was bending over and smiling for the xtian xtremeists. I don't think they're going to know how to handle New Hampshire's godless voters ;-)
tiN... Romney is going to run away with the NH primary. As an Independent I can vote in the GOP primary, and plan to vote for Huntsman, who will do very well here, likely third place.
as for the general election... I don't want to guess at this point.
What site did you get that pic from? I remember back in college we used to check out this uber-nutty religious page for kicks. They had an animal depicting all kinds of different religions (including the Kangajew, my favorite). They were really dedicated to the young earth creationist nonsense...including drawings of jesus riding a T-rex (oh ya and T-rex still lives). I cant find the site anymore, but I am pretty sure this is one of their drawings.
Matt..i dont recall. Goiogle "Mr. Gruff atheist flier" go to images. they are all over it.
This flier was first drawn/published by a poe religious site.. a spoof of a religious site. But it was picked up by actual Xtians who had no idea it was ridicule of their own stupidity.
PLEASE READ: Love it /hate it feel free to comment on it. Smart phone/ Iphones don't interface well with "blogspot", please..use your computer. Comments containing bad religious poems (they're all bad, trust me), your announcement of your engagement to Jesus (yeah,I've seen 'em), mindless religious babble, your made up version of Christian doctrine, and death threats are going to be laughed at and deleted. Thanks! Hump
See P. Z. Myers post. We aren't grumpy. We are RIGHT!
ReplyDeleteHahah! That sounds about right ;)
ReplyDeleteguiltfreely, religiously unencumbered, merrily pursuing yoohooity
ReplyDeleteAlways so sad? Must be that whenever a religious nut witnesses at them they get saddened by the illogical arguments and the waste of time.
ReplyDeletePS: Is that an old goat or a devil disguised as an old goat?
Hello Hump,
ReplyDeleteHere is to a great New Year my friend.

Happy New Year to you Hump, I look forward to reading your opinions in 2012.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world of christians, where people who simply don't believe in their god are labeled as criminals and demons.
ReplyDeleteJoyce,
